Over the years, Sotheby's has conducted the sales of the most spectacular jewellery collections of all time including The Jewels of the Duchess of Windsor, which at $50.3 million is distinguished as the world record auction total for a single collection of jewellery; as well as jewels from the Estate of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, The Collection of the Late Mrs. Harry Winston, The Jewels of Luz Mila Patino, Countess du Boisrouvray, and the collections of Ava Gardner, Maria Callas and Betsey Cushing Whitney.

Our sales include diamonds, colored gemstones and jewels, dating from the early 19th century to more contemporary styles. Sotheby's also holds the world record prices for many gemstones including white diamonds. Many jewellery pieces sold at Sotheby's are signed by internationally-known jewellery designers such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Harry Winston and Tiffany & Co.
